Delivery
1. Overview
Every gift box and hamper is delivered in protective, recycled packaging to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. Hampers are made to order by our dedicated team, and we ask customers to confirm a preferred delivery date.
While we make every effort to deliver on your requested date, delivery dates are not guaranteed, as we rely on our external courier partners. We will always provide full tracking information so customers and recipients can monitor delivery and designate safe places or reschedule if needed.
2. Delivery Days and Timing

Next Day Delivery (Mainland UK): Tuesday to Friday

No Monday Deliveries: To avoid hampers sitting in warehouses over the weekend

Saturday Delivery: Available for certain areas; not available for Highlands, Islands, or Isle of Man

Time Slot Deliveries: Premium options (e.g., pre-midday) can be arranged; charges apply as per courier fees
3. Delivery Costs

Standard 24-hour Next Day service (Tue-Fri): £9.95 for up to 15 kg

Additional weight (above 15 kg): £0.65 per additional kilogram, up to 10 kg extra

Premium delivery slots: charged according to courier fees, passed directly to customers
Note: Delivery cost is included in our curated Gift Collection hampers. For bespoke “create-your-own” hampers, delivery charges are added to your basket.
4. Address Accuracy and Redirection

We deliver to the address provided at the time of order.

Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in late or failed delivery.

Returned items due to address errors will incur a £9.95 re-delivery charge.

Drivers do not make pre-delivery calls; mobile numbers are for tracking notifications only.
5. Chilled & Perishable Goods

Cheese and other chilled items can be included in hampers.

Packed with ice pods and clearly labelled as “Chilled Goods” for 24-hour courier transit.

Delays during transit are not the responsibility of The New Forest Hamper Company, though advice can be provided if issues occur.

Fresh foods must be opened and refrigerated within 12 hours of receipt to remain safe for consumption.
6. Unforeseen Circumstances
Delivery may be affected by:

Acts of God, fire, flood

8. Returns Due to Unsuccessful Delivery

We are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Returned hampers due to failed delivery will not be refunded, but can be re-sent at standard delivery cost.
9. Tracking

All hampers provide tracking via email or SMS to customers and recipients.

Options include: safe place delivery, neighbour delivery, or rescheduled delivery.

Fresh food hampers require signature on delivery.
10. Delivery Delays
The New Forest Hamper Company cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by:

Adverse weather

Incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses

Events beyond our reasonable control
11. Lost or Missing Hampers

January–October Deliveries: Claims must be made within 14 days of anticipated delivery.

November–December Deliveries (Christmas): Claims must be made by 16th January.

We cannot guarantee refunds or replacements for claims made after these periods.
