Triple FFF Brewery Alton's Pride Bitter 500ml (World Beer Awards 2025)
Hampshire's most decorated bitter, and one of the finest traditional ales brewed anywhere in England. Alton's Pride is Triple FFF's flagship — brewed in Four Marks, near Alton, using chalk-filtered water drawn from the South Downs hills, and refined over nearly three decades into something close to perfect.
This is a proper Best Bitter with real pedigree. Malty and rounded to open, then tangerine fruit and resinous hop build steadily to a clean, quenching bitter finish that keeps you coming back. There is nothing fussy about it, and that's the point: Alton's Pride is the kind of beer that reminds you exactly why the English bitter is one of the great achievements of world brewing.
Named World's Best Best Bitter at the World Beer Awards 2025, and CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain in 2008. Over 80 awards across the Triple FFF range since the brewery was founded in 1997.
Goes beautifully with mature cheddar, a proper ploughman's, game pie or anything from a well-stocked cheeseboard.
