From one of Hampshire's most historic wine estates, this is a Madeleine Angevine of real charm and character.
Danebury Vineyard sits in the Hampshire downs near Stockbridge, on the site of a celebrated 19th-century racehorse training yard, with vines first planted in 1988 on the same chalk-rich soils that once thundered with thoroughbreds. Today, those chalk soils give Danebury's wines a distinctive mineral elegance that speaks unmistakably of the English countryside.
This 100% Madeleine Angevine is beautifully expressive: ripe orchard fruit and flinty aromas mingle on the nose, giving way to a rounded palate with a subtle chalky texture, a direct nod to the Hampshire soils beneath. A light honeyed note develops on the finish, adding a gentle richness that lingers.
Crisp, dry and genuinely elegant, it pairs particularly well with scallops, oysters and delicate seafood dishes.
