
Somborne Valley Vineyard
About
Their award winning collection of wine is produced from grapes grown in Somborne Valley’s vineyards. The three distinctly separate vineyards are set in the downland landscape of Hampshire’s Test Valley, in what is increasingly recognised as one of England’s pre-eminent wine producing areas.
The first planting was in the Millennium year with further phases of planting in 2006 and 2017. The vineyards now total some 28 acres, comprising Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Rondo, Bacchus and Sauvignon Blanc.
All harvesting is by hand and the vineyards have produced both sparkling and still wines all of which are vegan friendly. We have the last stocks of their beautiful Estate Reserve red wine - once it's gone it's gone which we will be extremely sad about...
